Grenoble Winter School 2015

The Winter school at Grenoble INP – Ense3 (Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble) addressed the subject of distributed intelligence for Smart Grids (general presentation here).

The event was coordinated by the Scientific Coordinator of the DREAM project, Prof. Raphael Caire, and held from 14th to 17th of December 2015 in Grenoble.

The School had as keynote speakers several well known researchers from the DREAM project and from the twins projects (evolvDSO, IDE4L and INCREASE) selected in the same EU call as a  key research institute of knowledge and interest, such as the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

A special agreement was reached to have a large participation of students from the KIC Innoenergy (Smart Cities and SENSE). These students partecipated to EU level discussion after the major  courses and then attended a creativity course in relation with what they learn. PhD student from Université Grenoble Alpes attended as well the distributed intelligence courses.

Approximately 80 Master Students – in link with KIC Innoenergy – and 10 PhD students from different European universities benefited from the experience!
