DREAM Quarterly project progress meeting in Sevilla

The fourth quarterly progress meeting for the DREAM project was held at the premises of Telvent – Schneider Electric on September 29th -30th in the beautiful Spanish city of Sevilla.

The meeting was held at end of fist project year, corresponding to the formal start of the activities devoted to trial, validation and demonstration of results from research in five different sites and scenarios, from network emulation environments to groups of home consumers, to whole distribution grids.

Work progress for scientific and technological activities proved to be at full satisfaction of the project Scientific and Technical Board, and a consolidated scope and plan for actual test implementation is expected to be available by next quarterly meeting in Grenoble during December 2014.

At the end of the meeting, there was the opportunity for a group of partners (see picture) to visit the SOLUCAR solar complex, the largest in Europe with current production of 183 MW from the operation of thermal and photovoltaic installations.
