DREAM Project kick off at the University of St. Gallen (CH)

16 September 2013

On September 16th and 17th 2013 the DREAM Project held its kick-off meeting at the premises of the Swiss partner, the University of St. Gallen.

With the kind participation of the EU Project Officer Patrick Van Hove, the meeting was attended by 25 representatives of the 12 project partners.

Driven by the Project Coordinator, the meeting was the first opportunity for a face-to-face get-together and a success in establishing trust and confidence across the team.

In view of the challenges posed to the project and to respond to the positive expectations by the Project Officer, the meeting offered the opportunity for finalising some specific aspects of work, recalling the project strategic views and jointly reviewing / updating the activities started on September 1st and planned through the first phase of the project.

During the two days of the meeting it was possible to address the scope of activities of all active Work packages, ensuring that links across tasks were clear and fully understood by all involved partners.

Specific attention was given to organisational aspects, efficiently managed by the Project management support team.

The convivial dinner and a friendly attitude by all the participants confirmed the common confidence in a successful cooperation along the three years of joint work within the life of the DREAM project.
